Hometown Health Hotline
Do you need to go to the emergency room? Should you go to an urgent care center, or can you wait to see your doctor? Hometown Health Hotline is the place to turn when you have a medical question.
Hometown Health Hotline is staffed seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. by registered nurses licensed in Nevada and California. Nurses have special training for answering questions and follow medical guidelines approved by physicians. They will help you determine the appropriate level of care for your condition.
Hometown Health Hotline cannot answer medical questions for callers outside of Nevada and California because of state nursing licensure regulations.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911.

- You are not sure if you need medical care from your doctor
- You are not sure if you should go to the emergency room
- You have questions about how to care for a minor injury or illness at home

To assist in administering our services, we offer a convenient, web-based service, HealthConnect™, at no charge. HealthConnectTM gives you access to our members’ eligibility, claims, authorizations and reconsiderations 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
